"By the time Wiz Khalifa's major label debut Rolling Papers dropped in 2011, his knack for writing hooks and creating a melody — whether by rapping, singing, a combination of the two—had made him a star. Since then, he's learned how to incorporate all of those strengths, showcasing them on multiple songs with Curren$y and Big Sean and Snoop Dogg. As Wiz keeps building with his in-house producers — Pittsburgh's own ID Labs — he continues growing as a writer.
