A little before noon Eastern Standard time on April 11, 2010, Wiz Khalifa turned it up a notch. After dropping seven mixtapes and two albums, he finally made a real splash with Kush & Orange Juice. Backed by whimsical production, Kush & Orange showcases Wiz’s growth as an artist and songwriter. He brings listeners into his hazy world with cuts like, “Mesmorized”, “In The Cut” and “Up”. Meanwhile, his papers burn bright on joints like “The Statement” and “Never Been”. In fact, Kush & OJ came so freshly squeezed that even Entertainment Weekly and The New York Times took notice.

Wiz , Snoop Re-Team For 'That Good' Record

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa's future together is looking pretty cloudy. And that's a compliment. The two lanky lyricists are set to star in an untitled movie together and on Tuesday night, the pair released the first single from the forthcoming soundtrack, "That Good."

"Never treat you wrong, to each his own," Snoop raps on the breezy number. "Snoop and Wiz, the new Cheech and Chong/ We up in smoke, making street schemes/ Smoking sticky green, having sweet dreams." -

On April 14, Wiz Khalifa took over the Internet. Unfamiliar Twitter users scratched their noggins upon seeing the seemingly esoteric phrase "Kush & OJ" listed in their trending topic sidebar. Even Google fell victim to the Pittsburgh rapper's rabid demand—all for a mixtape. The project was more than unwarranted hype, though.
