I love Wiz Khalifa. He has a laid back flow, sweet lyrics (although he uses the word "paper" a lot :P), and my favorite part: the beats. Many of Wiz Khalifa's beats have this trippy, ethereal vibe to it which I find flowing lyrics to is so nice. The Race is one of my favorite instrumentals, especially when the second instruments come in and the drums start kicking. Never Been is another favorite, because of the video game sample from Chrono Trigger. As an aspiring rapper, I make many of my beats from video games, because I love them! I'd like to share a few songs/beats I've worked on that are directly inspired from Wiz.

    1. The first is a remix I made of Wiz Khalifa's Never Been instrumental. It's fairly simple, but I made it long enough for three verses, so feel free to rap to it if you like.

    2. The next is a song my group recently released with a music video. We don't have the best recording/production quality, but it's one of my personal songs I've written. I rap on the first verse and sing the hook, my buddy Ice KILLS the second verse. I don't know anyone local that can spit like my friend can. The beat I made is sampled from a game called Phantasy Star Online. The vibes I get from the beat are very trippy and skylike, which is why we wrote the song "Permabaked". I hope you enjoy the song and give us a few likes on Youtube.
